"One Night of Grace" With Ibiyinka Alao: Come and experience the Spirit of Love, Adventure, Freedom, Imagination and Grace in this one night only Presentation and exhibition of Ibiyinka's new Artworks and some old pieces. Headlined by the painting called "Grace: That Even the World Can Pass Through It" which Ibiyinka made while in the Ozarks about 2 years ago, it is a powerful phenomenon which helps us to understand Forgiveness, Redemption and Love. Grace turns a sad story into a happy one, makes an ugly picture into a beautiful one, turns hurt into Joy and always finds good in everything by sewing the many bad colours in our lives together with the delightful ones to make a multicoloured quilt full of hope, Joy and Love. Ibiyinka Alao is an artist who paints pictures to tell stories about Life and to show the Mysteries of the Universe. In 2001, he represented Nigeria amongst 61 nations in the United Nations international Art Competition and won the first place. He is now the Arts Ambassador for Nigeria and a special envoy for Peace for the United Nations. He has served as the special advisor on Africa for the World Culture Open and travels around the world speaking to various schools, institutions and people about the need to "use Art and the Spirituality of our hearts as a river to water mankind's hearts so that we may grow and know peace". Ibiyinka is working on building schools in Nigeria, here in the U.S.A and all around the world aimed at teaching the power of creativity over social ills. He now resides in Springfield, Missouri with his wife Jessica and has been to many schools working with many children here.
